Possible New Release Month for Season 2

The unexpected delay led us back to the beginning where we're relying on rumors and assumptions on when Story: Season 2 will be arriving.

But a comment from Marvel XP's Facebook page has declared a month of release. The comment (found here) claims that Marvel: Avengers Alliance Season 2 will come out sometime in July.

"HI all, we know you are really excited about AA: Season 2 and not happy that it wasn't released on the 18th. First, we are sorry that the June 18th date was made public, it's a bummer and we know it's lead to lots of frustration. We do not have a firm date yet for Season 2 except to say July. As soon as we know more we'll post for you guys, Thanks for your patience with this."

Although the comment did not have a definitive date, and Marvel XP being sketchy at accuracy in information despite an official page affiliated to Marvel: Avengers Alliance, at the very least we can hold on to a month and expect that it will come out within July. Not too long now. just hang on players.

Aw, I wanted to finish these 12 chapters before they released Season 2.
But that won't be possible anymore since I'm stuck at Chapter 10 and need only 10 more stars to progress.
Not that I'm complaining about finishing behind other ~~poopsocking~~ players, I just don't want to know the story ahead of time, since I suppose it'll have spoilers to the end of Chapter 12.

I am just leveling my 10 heroes to 11 until season 2 comes out, each day they wrap up training at around 3:30 PM eastern, roughly half an hour after new content goes live typically here, I figure that way I log in, if theres no new heroes or season 2, next hero levels up to 11, if there is something new I'll start training the new heroes instead, that's my game plan until S2 goes live. Only 12 heroes in my roster left under 11 (give or take a Red Hulk recruitment in 10 days) wonder if they will all be at 11 before S2 arrives.

guys, relax. season 2 is just another chapter, not a tournament.

ok, there will be new features that we dont know what we will need, but I think that there is no need to hurry (leveling up, training, farming).

What most people dont get is S2 not being here wouldnt be a big deal at all, BUT its the fact that they announced it for June 18th and its now hours from July where I live. The delay and no announcement of a future release date is what gets to people. When something is promised and then delayed it sucks. If they said July in the first place it wouldnt be a big deal.

There'll be no "need" as anyone with access to PVP can play it,

but there is WANT, as it'll have shiny new gizmos and everyone is sick of having nothing new in the game since Spec Op launched.

what i know, i'm holding my breath for next 3 and hald hours, its definitely going to rain new content tonite, after spec ops, or else, well, or els ei'll wait

I have some wishful thinking going on right now that it will go live either today or tomorrow, I am not getting my hopes up too high, but the timing would feel right.

True I hope it'll happen soon. I'm just looking forward to the new heroes (hopefully some new 33 and 48 cp heroes) and alternate uniforms (SW and Magik). It's been what two weeks? How long does it take? (I'm not a game programmer so I really don't know)
