Again, I agree with most of what you say, Arkady. I think the idea of making Coulson and May the leads, and relegating the others to obviously supporting roles, is a very good one (though the younger demographic, to whom this show is obviously targeted, might not agree). Most ensemble shows hinge on one or two characters (Picard in STNG, Benson/Stabler in L&O:SVU, etc etc) and put everyone else in supporting roles, with occasional shows focusing on this or that supporting character. If AOS has decided that Slabjaw and Blogger Girl are the leads, they have made a terrible mistake, both because the actors are second-rate (is she channeling Sarah Silverman?) and because the writing for their characters is substandard. Ultimately, the actors play the parts as written and as directed, and they are giving the production team what they are being asked to give. I don't have a problem with the Doublemint Twins being whackadoodles, though I find their cutesiness very hard to swallow. And this whole thing about BG either being a mole or not being a mole is being handled and developed with extreme clumsiness. In fact, the whole show is just clumsy.

I haven't watched the last two episodes, so people who are writing that the show is improving may be correct. I will probably watch the next episode and decide whether or not I want to continue with it after that. Right now it seems like a good fit for the Disney Channel, and I don't watch Disney.
