I'm having trouble coming up with good PVP teams for my defense. It saddens me to see my rating go down everyday even though I'm winning every single team with my offensive team (Hercules+Omega). I'm looking for "original" teams, meaning I avoid using Cyclops, Rescue and my offensive team. I was going to recruit Rogue for her Heroic Battle and considered teaming her up with Pheonix (maybe the AI will be smart enough to use mind link on Rogue forcing the counter attack). However, keep in mind I don't have many heroes (I've spent well over 50 gold trying to get Elektra but I just can't seem to get that last cover, rotten luck). I'm all ears for suggestions and tips on forming a decent (and somewhat original) team. Thank you for your time.

Not to long ago I saw a very intresting team. Avengers Cap Tact, Ares and War Axe Inf Agent. Cap took damage for the team, Ares dished out major hurt and Agent was providing buff support for the entire team.
Since I could not get pass Cap I lost barely doing any damage to Agent and Ares.
But remember you have to have a high hero bonus as well.

One of the best teams are: Tact. Storm, Bruiser Worldwar Capt. America and a healer.                        Storm protects Capt. America from Blasters and applies the                          shroud while Capt. protects the team.
                 Tact. Black Widow(the counter attacker) and Capt.America(bruiser),                   and a healer.
                  Ares, Attilan set(generalist) with flashing eye or vigil. kit and                          Psylocke.  Â

No offense but I didn't say there were awesome, however I didn't say they were the opposite of awesome either.
Whether these methods will work at any level remains to be seen but at this point I am willing to try almost anything to win PvP.

I make strategies. Psylocke and Ares, I do not own them. But it's fun to make strategies. And those three, I just made them when I was going to post them. haha. Â

I tried this using Psylocke, OS, Elektra, Thane, Rouge, Wolverine and keep Ares as foundation for my team.. results are good til SQ + Phenomenon strike the tournament...
Atilian set + cube is hard to beat and everything is base on luck coz sometimes A.I. is using it properly. Â
On high Tier - its a must to aquire all the heroes as possible  and level them up. Armory is a huge factor. Mocking Bird is a hard hiting machine & Magik  with empowered ISos is great againts Ares.
I tried this Combat Analyzer last night with possitive results for ATk.

I faced an agent with Synthetic Cube, Fantomex and Daimon Hellstrom. Reality Hacking + Misdiredtion + Skittering Darkness is TOTALLY annoying. AI was stalling until the agent can use Atom Smasher. I won in the end but it was a really hard and long fight.
