I got Deadpool months ago in celebration of 1. Cosplaying as him. 2. The fact I got Gold in PVP season 1 before I stopped playing until Ghost Rider.

I have no interest in getting any more 135 CP heroes until they are all I have left. Although Psylocke is oh-so-tempting to me, and I'm aiming to get Iron Fist's alt eventually.

My lack of Quicksilver could be remedied when I get one more CP - he costs the same as Nightcrawler, Storm and Phoneix at 48 CP, and I have 47. I'm half-way through researching the Tactician's Trench, so I could get Quicksilver once I get that final CP, then use him in place of Cyclops, and fill the Tactician role myself - seen quite a few Blasters already. Mostly HT.

If I had the gold to spare, I'm two covers away from getting Elektra, but Heimdall has priority. Oh well, looks like I'm gonna be behind the 8-ball even further with my favourite Marvel heroine out-of-reach for a few months.

Should be doable from level 102 so long as you have a decent armory.  I have a low-level account that can run tac BW and Quicksilver and make top 1% on defense alone.

Yeah, two pages just of Cold Iron, plus prior PVP things I got from the roulette last PVP. Defensive biased armory bonus.

Ok, I forewent Nightcrawler (got 2CP from lockboxes), and grabbed Quicksilver. Adding him to the lineup now. (Not to my team, though, level 1 isn't good.)

Good move.  Eventually, you're going to love him.

And, another thing - I'll have Heimdall in a day or two, yay. If I keep levelling up and 4-starring Season 1, at least.

I will be blunt and honest. At level 102 and having only 18 heroes, you will have a very hard time getting to Adamantium. Doable, but very hard. You will have to make up for your hero quantity with armory bonus and your attack strategy.

I suggest to not focus too much on your defense team for now, I doubt any combination you put in defense would give you a win in Vibra or Ada. I have most of the heroes now and my armory bonus is very decent and yet I only get an AFK win around once out of every 20 afk battles. Instead, focus all your armory on your offense team and try a strategy that could outlast opponents with better bonuses.

Its a shame you didn't get the cube. Do you have the Emerald Prism? Again I should stress that with your current rooster and level, there is no way you can out damage agents in the Vibranium or Adamantium league(They will have mostly all heroes and have very high armory bonus and will be using LE items like Scroll Of Angolob and Warbringer Axe). Your strat should focus on survival and trickery. Of your current rooster, I suggest using Spider Woman and Loki. Their debuff will turn your opponents advantages against them while you slowly eat up their health. You should focus fire on 1 hero that is the most threat then move to the next. Do not switch targets unless your new target is almost out of HP.

Once you figure out your strategy, do lots and lots of attacks to compensate for your AFK losses.

Or you can just wait around 3 months for her eventual release and save yourself the frustration that is pvp :D You can also try out what the others have suggested and see what works for you.

Yeah, I know. Just getting the five wins today for lockboxes was a total pain, because I was going up against people using high-level champs like Rulk, WW Hulk and Scarlet Witch, and even someone who managed to get me down to just HT with two Future Foundation members (Invisible Woman and Thing, plus Tac agent).

Problem is the 18 heroes. If I save up for Domino, unless I'm grinding Epic Bosses over the next three months, I don't quite see myself getting any of the S2 mastery alts (was aiming for Iron Fist at the moment), let alone getting ground for the next PVP. Then again, I probably won't even bother with the next PVP, because it'll end up being a Silver placing for me again, as it's been in every PVP since Season 1 I've taken part in. And that's even if she comes out on time - she might end up like Bishop and stuck in limbo for ages. Which is a shame, my main Marvel pairing is Domino and Deadpool, and she's always been my favourite heroine, even before I found Deadpool. Something about her probability manipulation, I think.

No Emerald Prism either. PVP is for paid players, I'm just a nobody. As usual.

Argh, damn template - I have Invisible Woman as well, but she isn't showing up.

I know the feeling. I used to play the game "straight" inluding the pvp. Then I noticed that at the higher tier pvp, either the agents are uber cash spenders or are sandbaggers and it was really very hard to get to Adamantium playing "straight". So I joined the sandbaggers group(by using Power Of Four) and it worked for me. Be warned that the more respectable members of the wiki are against using this strategy hahaha.
