I get what your saying. It will be less than desirable adding vampires to the list of things we have to kill by the dozen, and they would be really hard pressed to explain where they were all coming from and why they are only now such a big deal. But they would not necesarily need to be that large a presence in the story.

Blade spends just as much of his time fighting demons as he does vampires, so he could tie in well with the ongoing demon related subplots without too many big changes to the story. They will of course add some vampire bosses like Deacon Frost or someone, but it wouldn't need to become a new world unto itself or add a new grunt faction. Just enough to justify Blade's presence(and maybe that of Morbius and/or Jubilee down the line).

dont forget dracula in that list of villians but thats the point of adding him its to add content to the game that wasnt there before that can add a new rwist to the game m:aa said it that when they add new heros they first look at how theyd tie in and what adding them to the game could they bring to game like new factions or villians but more importantly lets use a little logic typically marvel releases a super natural hero on halloween spec ops (ghost rider, daimon) so blade was a logical choose in that aspect

Blade suffers much from the issues with other popular characters, lot of people that like him without really having any clue why. They just know the name as opposed to much better characters who didn't have their rights sold off.

But he does offer a fair bit, unlike Iceman. Vampires are a staple, and their inclusion makes a lot of other elements much more relevent. Spitfire and Baron Blood allow for more classic WWII remnants, which leads further opens the stage for other Invaders. The number of different Vampire tribes offer a potentially very varied subset of enemies for us. Something OTHER then Test Subjects. Dracula's sons are valid characters in their own right, Xarus and Janus. Jubilee needs being a vampire to be even close to appealing.

Blade is however, nothing like punisher, he's a reasonable person who will work with Vampires if they're not trying to kill him. Spitfire, Hannibal King, Quincy. Reasonable Human when the situation suits his interests, as opposed to punisher.

Ben882, I understand your point for Blade, but you seem forget that Blade does kills a lot of things, not only vampires (though they are on top of the list no doubt), and not only demons either, but all monsters in general, that is why I HOPE that they base the Spec Op around Draculas Gaunlet, where he is trying to control all of Monstropolis, wich could be a good location for the game..... also I LOVE Shiklah, and would love to see her as a Group Boss to unlock boxes

I can't say because I've never read anything about Dracula or Shikah, or the said "Monstropolis".

I'd rather have the game focused on an avenger story, so I hope they can make a spot for him without bringing all this obscure stuff that doesn't have much to do with the avengers.

i agree,vampires will open a lot of plots, and i hope they release lilith as well.

He's referring to the digital miniseries Deadpool: The Gauntlet (Deadpool: Dracula's Gauntlet in print version) from the last few months. It was a good read, but I don't see it being part of M:AA anytime soon, if ever. Would be interesting to include Shiklah is some fashion in the future though.

Just hey don't know yet when they will schedule this. But it's gonna come for sure.
