@ BrockLee - correct.  I just browed through some of the Playdom forum, and nothing is addressed there either.  The same complaints exist there and here.  I didn't spend much time, but I didn't see anything that PD addressed for the mobile MAA forum.

On another note, they just had a Developer Q&A that was very extensive, giving the FB users quite a load of information. 

Well, considering that we're not "official" enough or something in their eyes to even be mentioned or linked to on the PD Forums, I find it a huge stretch indeed. Yes, the wikia and links from it get scrubbed from posts, you'll get a warning message, you could even get a temp ban for it, depending on the Staff you come across. It was my first infraction there :P

Part of the reason why could be not having as much control over unreleased content, hence the recent reminder from Doc, or the perception that we don't. But only fools claim to know anything going on within Playdom.

It is possible that we have users here affiliated with Playdom. But assuming they had information that most people wouldn't, do you think they'd risk sharing it? There's proper channels they run through to release information. Breaking that could be job termination at the least, a lawsuit at the most. Game companies like their confidentiality agreements.

I feel for you guys. We on facecult don't hear as much as we'd like, most of the time it's advertising stuff we already know like we've got no short term memory. When it is something new, it's usually delivered by some idiot attention whore that thinks the majority of what they say needs to tease something or be cryptic. But you guys are in the dark completely. We do share the copy/paste Support responses though, that service seems to be the same quality across the board.

Honestly, I never saw the appeal of the Mobile platforms. Even if I had a device, I wouldn't be able to accomplish my goals on those, it seems like you guys are getting what we got, bugs and all, when you could be getting to experience what we have now while you catch up to us. If you have the desire to play, I'd use an app or whatever legitimate means available to play our version on your device. I know Puffin works for iOS, but Android already supports Flash so IDK your guy's analog. Sure you'll be starting over, but at least you shouldn't feel like such bastard stepchildren to them.

Demonic I could say the same about the Facebook version since I don't even own a Facebook profile any more. Facebook sales your information, owns your page, and gives full rights to any part of the us government without a warrant or a warning. Very bad business model if you research it a little. Someone legally could take your pictures and mod them then put them in a site in which you could do nothing about. Many instances the us government has used citizens profiles to try to con people into illegal activity. Something that used to be entrapment. Some of us have a little over a year on android. Technically more people own smart phones in America than use Facebook also. Such a large market and Disney couldn't pull their head out of their ass to even keep us semi informed. Something that I know a lot about, considering I once sold bots that I made myself for final fantasy 11 that dominated servers for years

This is in reponse to what, exactly? My failure to see the appeal in something I don't have? Fair enough. I just offered 2 possible choices if Android doesn't meet your standards. Play the more stable, maintained version, or don't play at all. Depends how much you decide to take.

@Demonic - I'm not asking for some inside information, I'm just asking for a simple acknowledgement that we exist and that they are working on something for us for sometime in the future.  I don't think that's too much to ask. 

There is no information on the playdom forums either.  No 'hey, sorry for the delays, but we are working on some bug fixes and new content that should be available soon.'  That would at least let us know that they're working on something.  Even a billboard in the game announcements "New content coming soon" would appease most of us. 

Right now, we're in limbo.  No new content, no announcements, we see frequent players saying 'adios' here and there.  The posts to this forum have dropped off significantly.  All of these indicate the loss of our player community which will end up hurting all of the active players.  If activity drops too much, more players will leave, and we will soon see our platform end. 

Well, as I said, we're seperate from PD. Their Forums are the place they'll acknowledge you if it's going to happen. They're not going to come here to do it, because we are just an unofficial fansite to them at best.

But I agree they should say something.

Problem with PD is not that they won't post here, but they won't post or communicate anywhere.  Heck their own forums get less activity than here on wiki.  I have not seen them respond to any post on their own forum.  I can't wait until someone else takes over the MAA project because PD sucks for Android as a Dev.  I am hoping that happens but no one knows for sure.

Well, this morning I just now shipped off my last hero to train to level 12 (Rescue, if anyone cares to know who won my Mr. Irrelevant award).  Anybody want to lay odds on us getting a new PvP, Hero release, or SO before she is done? 

Well the announcements are no longer telling me Captain Britain is now available so that's something right? </grasping at straws>
