I was just wondering how long it had been since we had any new content. Not over-reacting guessing...but actual facts. I looked back and it appears the last special op started back on July 23, 2014. That is exactly 3 months months ago. Simply WOW...
Not to mention it has been a year since the the last chapter was unlocked/open.
So is there any doubt this game is being let die?
There is no information on the playdom forums either. No 'hey, sorry for the delays, but we are working on some bug fixes and new content that should be available soon.' That would at least let us know that they're working on something. Even a billboard in the game announcements "New content coming soon" would appease most of us.
Right now, we're in limbo. No new content, no announcements, we see frequent players saying 'adios' here and there. The posts to this forum have dropped off significantly. All of these indicate the loss of our player community which will end up hurting all of the active players. If activity drops too much, more players will leave, and we will soon see our platform end.
Well, as I said, we're seperate from PD. Their Forums are the place they'll acknowledge you if it's going to happen. They're not going to come here to do it, because we are just an unofficial fansite to them at best.
But I agree they should say something.
Problem with PD is not that they won't post here, but they won't post or communicate anywhere. Heck their own forums get less activity than here on wiki. I have not seen them respond to any post on their own forum. I can't wait until someone else takes over the MAA project because PD sucks for Android as a Dev. I am hoping that happens but no one knows for sure.
Well, this morning I just now shipped off my last hero to train to level 12 (Rescue, if anyone cares to know who won my Mr. Irrelevant award). Anybody want to lay odds on us getting a new PvP, Hero release, or SO before she is done?
Well the announcements are no longer telling me Captain Britain is now available so that's something right? </grasping at straws>

hmmm.... interesting. the Vision SO needs Capt. Britain for the epic, as well as Black Knight.
I'm going on the record now saying that I will be upset if they drop two new 90CP heroes on us and then a SO that requires them for the Epic within the course of a couple days. Especially because I just burned through 200 CP buying various heroes at the end of the last PVP...
It may have been mentioned already, but I don't recall seeing this detail: The M:AA support site has been moved entirely away from playdom and is now on the help.disney.com site. It shows topic updates that were posted on 10/15/14. This is at least encouraging that someone was doing something two weeks ago. As for future content, who knows...
Hah, I meant the other UK based hero Union Jack. There has been an announcement that he is available since the start of the Rescue spec ops

The point your missing here is that it is a very stardard thing the marketing and PR world right now to search out multiple medias to get in touch with your customers. Considering their main product is on Facebook, I'm shocked that they aren't being more proactive or informative. Like it has been said before. They don't really utilize their own forums to the fullest. Yet they have an unofficial forum here that they don't got to run or maintain. This would a very easy media to work with specially since its got more following then their own forum. I'm not sure why there's this much chatter about this. It well known they aren't huge on communication with the fan base. Also in an earlier post you said something about starting over on FB or something... Yeah 6 months of play just to start over. Don't think so.
Overall we all know they suck at PR and Customer Service. I'm just hope they will finally see all these rants as well as the one on their own website and maybe wisen up a bit.
I'm not missing anything, you think this wikia is bigger than it really is, especially to a company that was valued enough to be bought by Disney without just being absorbed. We are just another fan-run site to them. We might be more organized than most, even the cream of the crop, but that doesn't mean PD is going to seek us out.
I'll remind you that mentioning US on THEIR FORUM can mean a BAN for YOU.
So why would they reach out here when they want nothing to do with us there? I don't know what's more laughable, that, or the thought that our Foums have more traffic or following. Their Forums are HUGE by comparison. The difference you're seeing and confusing for far superior is us being smaller, meaning we have a much better Staff to User ratio. And being fans ourselves that want the best for this wikia, of course we're going to interact with you.
For the second time, starting over or quitting was a suggested possibility if you were truly fed up with the Android version's crap, not a binding contract.
Finally, Playdom WILL NOT acknowledge anything here. If you have a gripe or a suggestion, take it to them where they have a chance of seeing it. Do it knowing it will probably amount to nothing. But then you can say you tried, and you won't be disappointed in the result either.
