Supposedly the game was released on October 2, 2013.
I'm basically giving it to the end of the month, after that point if there's nothing then I'll be done with the game. I'll have every character leveled to 12 by then, and I have been 300 for months, so there will literally be nothing for me to do very soon anyway. If they only give us a PvP tournament before then, I may stick around long enough to get the hero and get it to 12, but that's just the completionist in me. Still hoping for a big update, but not counting on it.
But yeah, the game was released on the 21st or 22nd on November last year. This says the 22nd, but it is the wiki so it could be off.

@Bestsinceday1 - I sincerely hope you are right. I'm doing about nothing right now except collecting my daily gifts, running a few 4.4's, and leveling up heroes, slowly. I can't even bring myself to farm my jets. Plus, I have CP, but I don't want to buy any heroes since I am sure I will choose incorrectly for the next SO.
Honestly I am so bored with this game right now, that even an unconfirmed announcement of an update is enough to get my attention :-)
