<p>I don't think it's related to something. If the game remain as it is now it won't last that much, if instead they will do something for it there's no reason to put a limit. </p>

Curious if disney cancels this game would there not be back lash or possible lawsuits to then from people whom have empty paychecks into this game?

<p>Good question... Maybe that's why they haven't done it yet.  Just leave it up, do nothing and just let the game die by boredom. </p>

<p>As far as the countdown on firestarter, most LE items like that have a timer and when they put this back in the store it had the regular timer length+365days.  So IMO someone just put in the wrong year somehow when they added it to the store. </p>

<p>@sokrplyr - I agree.  Either that or they intentionally made this limited edition a lot less 'limited' :-) </p><p>Or.....  They made this the one last LE item until we have an update, which gives us a rough timetable of 300 more days of farming 4.4 before we get a new SO... </p>

<p>Honestly they could cancel the game tomorrow and there wouldn't be any repercussion about people who bought items in the game. I can't remember what or where it is but I remember seeing something about how when you make a purchase you agree to the fact the dev has no responsibility to make the game available for any duration of time or something like that.  I will look more but I thought that was the big reason a lot of devs started doing free games with IAP.  </p>

Yea that say they may discontinue what u buy but it doesnt say if they discontinue the game... in lawsuits those type of clauses are the loop holes which class action lawsuits are created

<p>It was a joke, of course, but admittedly I hadn't considered the incorrect year explanation. That's probably exactly what happened. Oo! Oo! I got another one! What if they can't speed up the time once the update goes live!? So they out in the wrong year now they have to wait for the timer to run out. Okay, okay. Plausible, unlikely, but plausible. Now imagine this the update for spec ops and the next PvP went live but they put it on a countdown dated with the wrong year! So we're waiting for the countdown to run out and make it visible cuz there's nothing anyone can do! </p>
