I'm on my second run at this mission, I didn't get this error the first time through. I'm trying to do a red encounter but when I enter the screen, my agent is de-selected and I see the above message repeated where the three bad guys should be. When I do anything beyond this point I just get a black screen.
I see there was a previous thread started about this, although it was a different chapter. There was no answer on that thread. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Is it solved if you abort, reload the game and start over the mission?
I've tried everything except aborting the entire mission and starting again, I'll give that a shot.
No, I'm still getting the buggy encounter. In fact I'm seeing two now, one high threat, one medium threat. It's like they're half-formed, when I hover over them there's no pop-up showing the villains like there should be.
Dang, that sucks.
If you do the rest of the fights, do you still get the Epic boss (if it's one of those missions)?
That's the next plan, I'm still working through it. That's the reason I'm doing this one a second time, to defeat the Epic for the task completion.
There appears to be a new one of these ill-formed things spawning each time I complete a battle. I have a total of four now.
One of them disappeared, so there are only three now, but the answer is no, it's not giving me the Epic boss.
Try going to daily quest and do 1 battle, that should fix the problem as many people did this and was fixed afterwords, even myself. If that doent work then perhapes file a ticket to playdom
I just ran it on Challenge Mode and it worked fine. Ran it again on Normal Mode and I get the phantom battles again.
Changing the language fixes it. I found this out through a google search.
