Ohh... then... the olds cosmic cubes are previous versions of iso-8 o O
It's important to remember that the whole Iso-8 concept was created by Alex Irvine to MAA and later exported to comics and other Marvel games, not the opposite.
I'll confess, I was upset by the game end like this, but ... reading this matter and later this link (for those who read in en) ... I was happy, as happy as the game ended and with real hope and at some point, the story of this game appear as eater-egg in the canon of comics (maybe Nick Fury still lost in Incursion xD). I did not even know that the iso-8 exist in the game Contest of Champions and now I know it's kind of part of the structure of the Marvel comics now, the Incursions are canon, other media containing the iso-8 appears to be purposeful .. . I would now yes, I can finish this game happy xD
Tira-Teima 616: Sobre Os Supremos, ISO-8 e o Espaço-Tempo
Then... back to the comics ^^
I remember someone posting a link to the comics that had Mr.F explain that the pulse was destruction of an Earth's timeline which caused a chain effect known as the incursions. Don't remember how Iso played a part of it.
Thanks for the answers. Gonna miss the game and this community that grew up because of it.
The incursions were in the comics before they were in this game. New Avengers Vol 3, #1 is the first appearance that I found of Incursions, as Hickman took over the Avengers from Bendis.

That was January of 2013.
Season 2 of MAA launched, with Incursions, on August 1 of the same year.
Checking MAA's vitals and I can't find a pulse. 8(
I found the tweet I was referring to on my first comment. https://twitter.com/MAAInsiders/status/489426538379501569
Notice that the tweet is from 7/16/2014. The villain that caused the Pulse might have been added after that, or not. We'll never know and we can only speculate. Unless Alex Irvine opens his mouth, but it's impossible.
She's dead, Jim.
