This looks A LOT like GoH, LotB and many other turn-based RPGs on mobile.

M:AA was unique and original in it’s look and mechanics, and the Agent customizable with Gear made all the difference.

The Gear in GoH is basically another resource to collect for leveling up heroes. You can’t switch it around to customize your strategies. “It has gear!” is not enough.

Anyway, as of this, I’m out. It’s too similar to other games and I’m sick and tired of them NOT using 2D sprites, which was one of the main appeals for me in M:AA. The sprites were beautiful, the animations were simple and what was under the hood was (mostly) working very well. Plus the only random mechanic was the lockboxes. You could choose and buy what you wanted, not invest a resource and hope Spider-Man drops. You played for or bought resources, and you could recruit whoever you wanted (GoH has that too though).
