Since most versions of Bastion are Unexploitable, a self-boosting team is preferred instead of a debuff-based team. As versus previous GB's, a team-up of Iron Man and Thane works nicely, especially versus bruiser Bastion. The order is pretty important, but I managed to kill a 90%GB with this team so far. Honestly, my first attempt saw Thane killed in R1 and IM in R2, so its not a clear winner, but if the order is right, 2 180k crits of IM's Unibeam should do most of the work.

Iron Man with his Unibeam e-iso and Phase Freq (although I dont know how useful Phased Freq is). Just spam his Unibeam, nothing else. The blasters have nrg attacks, increasing unibeam focus. Some versions of Bastion can give impaired, this is where team order is important. Hopefully, either Thane or Agent is right in front of IM removing any debuffs before Unibeam is unleashed.

Thane with Generosity e-iso. Main task of Thane is Preservation on IM when possible for buff removal, but also to add a Unibeam Focus as Preservation is an nrg-action on IM. Every other turn, just l6 on GB and l1 on one of the sentinels. GB is immune to Amber.
When the Unibeam Focus increases to 7 or 8, you'll see some very nice crits coming through on GB!

I'd give Iron Fist a slot over Thane. IF has good damage on his own and can also help keep Iron Man upright and in stamina, as well as taking care of Bastion's debuffs (which, on some versions, are actually nasty).

I see your point, but this would mean at least 2 less Unibeam Focus on IM, which is where the real dmg comes from.
