We know from twitter that Anti-Venom is the next spec ops hero, there will be a new group boss and TWO new villains. I don't know if it has been announced if there is a lockbox for the group boss but I know that with the exception of Thane they want to keep lockbox heros as villains that have had some time to be in the game, (hence Winter Soldier was not an immediate lockbox).
So the bosses and team-ups look like this with a few side-bosses still unknown:
Havok vs Kang, Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo
Ares vs Taskmaster and Hydra goons
Squirrel Girl vs Hood and Bullseye
Emma Frost vs Green Goblin and Hellfire goons
Thor vs Ragnorak, maybe the Enchantress
Hercules vs Man Ape and the Hydra 4. Maybe Man-Ape is the Epic Boss?
Having not read too many comics I have a question about the video. Did they just use random pictures from a comic about incursions or were they deliberate in their choices? I'm saying that because there are several possible alternate uniforms that could come from the footage used. For example, Dr. Strange in his levitating cloak, Wolverine dressed in leather, Iron Man in a black and red suit, and a more human-like Beast.

Woods also said that it will be a gold only sale. So, I'll just go ahead and buy Spiral with CP now since I have enough.
Here's the patch notes.

There's plenty of time with 34 days to complete the spec ops so you get plenty of chances to play both sides. Also it looks like we won't get SO 16 until at least February.
Hopefully they won't be limited time only, but seeing the pattern that Playdom has been heading in....
I'm going with PETD on that. The fact that he is wearing a gas mask means that the pestilence is not something for which he has immunity, i.e. a manufactured virus instead of something produced by his powers.
Now we can speculate on this fan-favorite villain. I'm going to vote for Sinister just based on what I've seen in the forums.
It's Iceman for Spec Ops 16.
I can't put my finger on it, but this battle also seemed much easier today. First time I tried playing it since chapter 3 came out and I won. There wasn't anything that I had done differently to Mr F. since that first attempt.
I think that this battle might have been rebalanced. I played this battle today twice for the first time in about a week. Selene seems to have had Skia Thanatou removed from her attack set. Anyone else able to confirm? Also did this change impact her appearance in chapter 2.1.5?
Have you completed enough tasks from chapter 2? If not then that needs to be done first. If you have completed enough tasks from chapter 2 and still can't get to chapter 3 than it's definitely a bug which there are a lot with this new patch and you need to contact playdom.
First key noticed is using bifurcator on the Doombot. Other than that, I haven't gotten far. Need to LVL Mr. F. to 12 and iso him up.
Offense and Defense are the same right now with the emphasis on high damage. Havok and WW Hulk, Empowered Infiltraitor Agent with Synthetic Cube, Prototype Cube, SoA, and Mystic. Staying in Diamond, could push to Vibranium if I wanted but I'm just keeping to 5 battles a day.
Has no one heard of this website?

I know that this isn't playdom. I know that as far as we know Playdom won't check this website because they're busy not reading the tickets that are being sent to them. *exaggeration*
"Dear Playdom Gamer,

I purposefuly kept this in the Venting forum since venting serves the purpose of catharsis and is solely for the initial benefit of the poster. It was not my intention for this to become a large debate about the use of forums in general. Is it possible to edit the settings so that updates from the Venting forum don't end up in the forum activity feed so people don't mistake this post as something else? Or should I just vent on my own message wall or take a box and stand out in front of my house? Because I'm getting the vibe that nobody wants to read these posts but they also realize the importance of having a Venting forum to keep these kind of posts from popping up in the other more popular Discussion and Speculation forums.
Please stop this new trend of yours where you send gifts to me from friends that are not playing the game and won't be playing the game so that you can trick me into inviting them to play. I don't want to be that friend that sends out massive numbers of game requests to all of my friends and then watch them slowly ignore me for life. So, seriously, just stop. If I want more friends that are playing the game, then I'll come to the wiki here and look at the list.
It is a new development from this last big update and I think it's a bug from the Synthetic Cube. They could have been testing it out and forgot to switch it back before they made the update.
I know this thread is old now, but I couldn't help but think about the Circle of Eight as we near the eventual release of chapter 2.2.
After reviewing the info that we have, Circle of Eight , here is my theory on the circle of eight.
There are lots of references in libraries and archives which suggests that the Circle of Eight was an old cult. There is belief that the Circle of Eight has something to do with the pulse. I think that Iso-8 is a result of the pulse which someone created using information that they gathered from the Circle of Eight or someone reforming the Circle of Eight itself. The Circle of Eight is dedicated to creating and using Iso-8 for promoting chaos.
Now I think, what is currently happening is that there are lots of organizations running around trying to get information from the Circle of Eight so that they can use iso-8 for their own personal goals. These organizations are the Hellfire Club, the Hand, Hydra, and others. This will allow for introduction of people such as Shaw, the Mandarin, and the Kingpin as they start acquiring more powerful goons from what they are learning from the Circle.
I think we'll end up with a lot of people using the Cricle for their own gains through alliances but not actually becoming cultists themselves. Those who will actually be part of the cult will be people more dedicated to chaos and probably followers of Blackheart.
