God that's awful.  Truly truly awful.  Ugh.  

In a word - items.  If you have cripplers or chaotic grenades, use them.  Otherwise, anything that applies status effects.  His whole deal is based on turning your team against each other.  But those two items - along with anything that gives you extra turns to use them - negate that.  I killed him in 2 turns.  

I've heard a rumor that topics like this are completely banned on this forum.  If only it were listed in the rules.  Oh wait... it is.  

Yawn.  You know how to get people to not care even a little bit about an announcement?  Post it on April 1st.  It could be the truest thing you've ever written in your life and no one will believe it.  Wake me tomorrow if this is still a thing.  At least the Galactus one was mildly interesting.  

What some of the others above said.  Anyone who thought Winter Soldier was coming one second before Civil War is simply not paying attention.  

As far as Howard, I love it.  He's a good character in comics - pretend the movie doesn't exist.  And hopefully it means we'll see some of the other rumored characters soon as a result.  

Cyrus I actually completely agree with you.  He's not a true "clone" like Ben Reilly, but I understand what you're saying.  It's the same with Beta Ray Bill and Thor.  SIMILAR enough that the word clone applies.  I am still excited, simply because he's been on my top want list for a while.  So like I said, I genuinely don't mind.  

I'm hopeful that with this fall's books expanding the Avengers line and making several characters "OFFICIAL" Avengers for the first time that it will push them into the game.  Sunspot, Manifold, Smasher. Hulkling, Wiccan, Shang-Chi, White Tiger, Power Man (Victor), Ms. Marvel (Kamala). Blue Marvel, Spectrum and Songbird would be at the top of my list.  And that doesn't include the missing X-Men.  I don't want them all, but boy are there some notable members missing.  The point is, there are still PLENTY of characters they could do instead of constant "clones".  

Along with all of Alpha Flight.  Seriously.  There are at least 5 of them that should already be in the game.  But they'd all be good fits.  :D 

Honestly I'm okay with it.  Anything other than another Spider.  I wouldn't mind if they did a small run of Hulks if it meant we got A-Bomb, Red She-Hulk and Skaar.  Then they could maybe get to Alpha Flight!

Agree with Cyrus' comments.  There are so many characters they could have done in addition to Hulkbuster.  I don't have a problem with it - I think it'll be fun.  I'm just more concerned about the CP that's going to be needed.  Even if they keep the alts through the end of summer, it's going to be expensive.  If they do give us a general release hero, you're looking at 90 CP minimum.  Hulk's alt through a CP task might be 5 CP if they follow the Morbius example.  The rest, say an average of 45CP per alt (if you're really generous).  If they release 2 classes per character, that's 14 alts!  

Even if you get 1 alt per character, you're looking at 315 (7x45) + 5 + 90 = 410 CP.  Now maybe some of you have that much, but I certainly don't.  And this is a conservative estimate.  Several alts have cost more in the past.  Ugh.  

Another option I've used with great success is the custom goblin glider.  It's stealthy so it serves two incredibly useful purposes.  The first is that it doesn't trigger counters.  With someone like Kuurth that's a huge plus.  It also keeps Nul from attacking me.  

The second benefit is it doesn't trigger protect abilities.  So against Nul or Groot or Molly or whoever is paired with her - no protect.  It hits her, not someone else.  Since it also does extra damage against flying, it's a huge help.  I can usually have her dead by the second round.  Sometimes in the first.  

It's not 100%, but I haven't lost nearly as many fights against her as I would have otherwise.  Probably only 25% loss ratio since I started using it.  

What Durins said.  Seriously, there are some very good connections.  There's the whole Wolverine link obviously.  But Puck was in X-Force, Northstar is an X-Man, Marinna was an Avenger, and Sasquatch was an Exile.  Not to mention how cool the team would look being added to the game.  

Just as FYI, I was not one of those complaining about all the content in December.  I absolutely loved it and think every month should be like that.  I had complaints sure, but it wasn't about the amount of content available.  THAT was awesome in my book.  :)  

Yep - it's a very fun game mechanic.  I'm glad it's coming back, and it's made even better by the rewards this time. 

I see Namor getting his own Spec Ops honestly.  He's one of the (arguably) five MAIN characters still left along with Nova, Namor, Silver Surfer and Cloak & Dagger.  Those seem to be the names I keep hearing over and over. 

I'd love it to be Namor, but if it were him I think they'd want the hype.  Morbius & Hellcat fall in that lower tier of heroes, which would explain why they're not the team leader and Dr Strange is.  Course for all we know it could be Howard at this point lol. 

Someone on Twitter actually has another idea and when I think about it it makes perfect sense.  Team 1 is Blade and he's fighting vampires.  Team 2 is Dr Strange and he's fighting demons.  We already have Satana and Hellstorm.  Who are we missing from that same little group?  Hellcat.  She's an Avenger, a Defender, was married to Hellstorm, and is one of Marvel's oldest characters.  Please PLEASE let it be her if it's not Morbius or Jubilee... That would just be all kinds of awesome in my opinion. 

No not at all, at least not on my part.  I run a wiki myself.  Believe me I know how it goes.  I was genuinely curious and didn't want to violate the Wiki rules.

I'd love for it to be Morbius, but my guess is the second character is Jubilee.  I'd be happy with either.
