Notes

• Beast was confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con on 14 July 2012 and released on 31 October 2012.
• Beast first appeared in a dialogue for one of the tasks in Special Operations - Avengers Vs X-Men (as Dr. Hank McCoy).
• Beast has three themed gadget, Neurotrope, A Pound of Cure and Ex Oblivione.
• Beast has received a game-exclusive Horseman of Pestilence alternate costume.

Gameplay

• 
   The Call of the Wild (Granted by his Catch-22 passive) stacks to a maximum of 3. Each stack increases his Attack by 20%. Beast gets a stack of it if he uses distress calls.
•  Epiphany (Granted by his Bleak House passive) is the name of the buff granted to allies by his second passive, the triggered move is called "Oh, my stars and garters!".

• All four of Beast's abilities, both of his effects and some of his buffs are named after the famous books. This is a reference to his intelligence and learned nature.
  • The Jungle is named after the book by Upton Sinclair.
  • War and Peace is named after the book by Leo Tolstoy.

  • A Farewell to Arms is named after the book by Ernest Hemingway.
