Black Knight (Refactor)

• Bio: Nathan Garrett, the previous villainous Black Knight, begged his nephew Dane to take up the name and restore its legacy. As one of the greatest swordsmen on earth, Dane Whitman has more than kept his promise. With the all-cleaving Ebony Blade and psyche-disrupting Sword of Light, the Black Knight is equipped to handle any challenge.

    • Protects allies from single target or area attacks
    • Chance to parry and absorb an attack then perform a counter-attack, increasing the damage and accuracy of the next Ebony Blade
    • Cursed Blade is replace with Shield of Night

    • Grants all allies Magic Warding

  • Unlocked at level 1
  • Targets One Enemy
  • Slashing, Melee
  • Special Properties
    • Ignore Defense
      • Damage ignores enemy's Defense stat
      • Attacks penetrate Shield statuses
    • Broken Vows
      • Removes Chivalrous Duty
  • One Enemy
    • Bleeding
      • Taking damage every round or after performing hostile actions
      • This effect can be applied 3 times
  • Self
    • Blood Curse
      • Chance to perform a follow-up attack when an ally attacks a Bleeding target
      • Chance to counter when a Bleeding enemy attacks an ally
      • Allies' Slashing attacks apply Bleeding
      • Shield of Night is replaced with Cursed Blade

  • Unlocked at level 2

    • Atonement
      • Removes Blood Curse

    • Chivalrous Duty
      • Protects allies from single target or area attacks

    • Deadly Crits
      • Deals extra damage on critical hits
    • Ethereal Strike
      • Ignores Avoidance and Incorporeal effects
    • Exploits Bleeds
      • Deals extra damage against Bleeding targets
    • Ignore Defense
      • Damage Ignores enemy's Defense stat
      • Attacks penetrate Shield statuses

  • Unlocked at level 9

      • Does not trigger counter or retaliation effects

      • Removes and prevents Protect effects

  • Gives you Blood Curse
    • Chance for a free sword attack when any ally attacks a bleeding target or a bleeding enemy attacks
• 2. Atonement
  • Removes Blood Curse
  • Chivalrous Duty
    • Protect single target OR AOE
    • Infinite Duration
    • If attacked by range, absorb it and get a pip of Sword of Light
      • Increases damage and hit/crit chance of next Ebony Blade
      • Upgrades the animation to awesome
      • 3 stack
    • If attacked by melee, parry it and counter-attack with Shield of Night
