I won't even pretend I know who this person was.

I never had the pleasure either. But our more pressing problem is that A.I.M. is shadowing the Circle of 8. M.O.D.O.K. is after something.

Maria Hill:

Vision, you're on point. Try to keep the Circle of 8's body count low, but your primary objective is removing M.O.D.O.K.

We're on the right track here. These Circle of 8 killings have to be related to that hammer. I would bet Mr. Stark's favorite car on it.

More apocalyptic nuts. Everyone wants to give the end of the world their own personal spin. Me, I'm only worried about stopping it.

We're trying to find out, boss. All the research avenues are coming up empty so far.

Then while the eggheads do their job, we'll keep doing ours. Priority one is to find She-Hulk and figure out why M.O.D.O.K. is following the Circle of 8 around.

Maria Hill:

We should also consider the possibility that Baron Strucker was tracking M.O.D.O.K. when Captain America intercepted him.

Nick Fury:

That could mean HYDRA is considering reabsorbing A.I.M.. Too damn many loose ends. Get tying them up, people. And if there are more hammers out there, find them before the wrong people do.

There's a private museum in this part of London. Not many people know about it. Those that do, know it has a collection of Egyptian artifacts you won't see anywhere else.

And among those in-the-know people are the Circle of 8. They're up to something and the museum is the focus.

Moon Knight's on the scene and reports demonic presence in the area... plus he's sighted Kang.

Moon Knight:

There are definitely demons. Also these Circle of 8 dirtbags.

Agent Coulson:

There are Circle of 8 cultists chanting for Moon Knight to come out and prove he's worthy. Worthy of what?

Moon Knight:

I'll find out. And along the way, I'll settle things with Kang.

I was close enough to touch Kang's mind and he is certain that the Circle of 8's actions are related to the hammers falling. And Tony, darling, they use worthy as a noun, not an adjective.

Thanks for the grammar check. But Kang is also kind of nuts, right? What is it with these Egyptian guys all being crazy?

Moon Knight:

Watch it, Stark.

Tony Stark:

Says the Circle of 8's new favorite worthy-guy. You watch it.

Emma Frost:

It's the time travel that makes Kang crazy. But it doesn't make him wrong. I think we had better prepare for the worst.

Turns out we didn't eradicate the Hellfire Club presence in London after all. Iron Fist, fill us in?

Iron Fist:

I've been pursuing leads related to the Circle of 8. They led to London, and now to the Hellfire Club. I don't know if the Hellfire Club is controlling the Circle of 8 or not, but they sure know more than they're letting on.

Tony Stark:

Does this have something to do with whatever happened to She-Hulk?

Iron Fist:

That's one more thing I'll try to find out.

Tony Stark:

So the Hellfire Club might have its hands on the strings controlling another enemy group. Shocking! It would be enough to make us suspect the motives of all Hellfire Club personnel, if we weren't so open-minded and trusting.

Emma Frost:

Don't blame me.

Tony Stark:

Nobody said a word about you, Emma.

Emma Frost:

One of you was about to. I won't say who.

Nick Fury:

I will. It was me. How come we're finding out about this from Iron Fist instead of you?

Emma Frost:

Fantomex:

You should be asking EVA. She'll be doing the heavy lifting with the hack while I disable the bomb.

Maria Hill:

Tony Stark:

I'm starting to think we're looking at a new sheriff in Hellfire-ville.

Agent Coulson:

I think it's more likely the Dark Avengers are attacking the Hellfire Club to keep them from controlling the Circle of 8.

Tony Stark:

Maybe. We'll find out soon enough.

I'm wondering if it's possible that the sacrifices are related to the hammer.

Tony Stark:

Don't jump to conclusions, Coulson. For all we know, the hammer came from an Incursion.

Agent Coulson:

We know the Circle of 8 are connected to this hammer somehow. A.I.M. confirmed as much.

Maria Hill:

Then we need to break up the Circle of 8. Fast. If Coulson is right, and the Circle of 8 are still out there making kills, then there could be more hammers on the horizon. Let's get to work.
