That's what I saw. While I was recycling those Sentinels, I spotted at least two AIM Agents near the portal. They had some tech with them. Appeared to be extracting data, or something, from the portal itself before it collapsed.

Tony Stark:

Sentinels makes sense, AIM's tried that before. But what's going on with this supernatural whack-a-mole we're playing with dark energy, Strange?

Dr. Strange:

The Vishanti are uneasy. There is a greater purpose behind this. What, I have not yet discovered.

Tony Stark:

My bet's on zombies. I love this job.

I was afraid of this. Civil unrest always gets Washington in a lather. Hawks in DC want us to bring the hammer down a little harder. And they're the ones with the purse strings. This isn't usually my style, but there's a riot happening outside Avengers Mansion. My father built that house. For that, I'll bring the hammer down.

We've got the first solid clue about who might be responsible for this cybernetic sabotage. But the files are damaged by what looks like gamma radiation. As unlikely as it may seem, this is a job for the Hulk.

Our resident gamma-ray expert needs to get to the Stark cybernetic-research lab out on Long Island. We've got files that might give us a clue about who’s behind this sabotage, but they’re corrupted by gamma-ray damage. This one’s yours, Hulk.

Nothing definite, but it’s not HYDRA or AIM. They leave signatures. This looks different. It’s all in the report.

Haven't been able to get too close without stirring things up. This is one big mess, though. Something shady is going on in that RAID lab you broke up a while back.

Looks like you need to break it up again. Smaller pieces this time.

The Brotherhood's forced mutations are giving all mutants a bad name. Without Nick Fury to present a strong face, Congress is making noises about going around S.H.I.E.L.D. and taking anti-mutant action. Send Cyclops to Washington to advocate on behalf of Homo superior.

Time for another trip to DC. Cyclops, take a page from the Widow’s book. Knock 'em dead.

Unfortunately that’s not an option. But they’re going to know exactly what I think, I can promise you that.

It's around here somewhere. Juggernaut keeps springing more prisoners. How did you guys not notice all these people were missing?

Curiouser and curiouser. Magneto appears to be getting cold feet about starting more mutant riots. He must read the blogs. Things have gotten out of hand, even for him. Now he's got Sentinels marching out of the Hudson docks to put down the riots. But as we learned the hard way, Sentinels are blunt instruments. They're putting down the riots, all right, but they're doing lots of other damage too. We need to get them under control. War Machine's in the field with you.

War Machine:

Scouting the Intrepid area now, Agent. I'll meet up with you.

Based on the schematics we've recovered during raids on other Brotherhood locations, we need to develop different approaches to different potential models of Sentinels. It's not glory work, but a good tactician wins battles and saves lives.

Yeah. Dressed in those old Hydra uniforms. They fell down again as soon as the Hood took off.

We're still tracking that transmission from Nick. But at least we know he's still alive. I sure as hell wish he was back here. Without him and Maria around, I'm the only guy here to take all the heat from Washington. And they are bringing lots of heat. Times like this I wish S.H.I.E.L.D. operated in a vacuum. But that's not the American way.

There's been a security breach at the UN complex. This would be nothing out of the ordinary, but we've stored the Destroyer armor there, and Jotun have been sighted. If one of our Asgardian malcontents is trying to get that armor, we need to know about it and nip it in the bud.

Thor:

That is what's happening. Bet on it.

We've taken a Jotun prisoner. Send a hero to escort the giant in for interrogation. On the way, mention Laufey's name and see what the Jotun does.

While you’re talking to this Jotun, drop Laufey’s name, just to see what happens.
