Story:
I only agreed to the alliance because I had to. I have tried to fight you, to force my will over you as I have countless others. With each failure, my rage grew.
There are people whose mere presence distorts existence. They are untouchable, uncontrollable. Whirlpools in the ocean of time. I am one; you are another.
Incursions are a crisis on a scale unfathomable, a crisis with you at its heart. Killing you is more dangerous than helping you. You may save us… or destroy us.
In the future I come from, it was the latter. You sent me here out of desperation, a final message from a dying universe. I cannot stop you, but perhaps you can stop yourself.
... Or perhaps I am a liar, telling falsehoods to throw you off-balance and claim some obscure advantage. You may choose to believe that, if you prefer. It matters not.
