New Hero: Faiza Hussain

Bio – Dr. Faiza Hussain was treating the injured during an alien invasion when she was struck down by an experimental weapon. When she awoke, she discovered she now had the ability to manipulate matter, especially organic matter. During the invasion, Faiza was drawn to the resting place of the legendary sword of King Arthur Pendragon, Excalibur. She pulled the sword from the stone and fought alongside Great Britain's greatest heroes. Wielding the Sword of Healing as a living symbol of Great Britain, Faiza Hussain uses her knowledge of medicine and Excalibur to aid those in need.

Class: Generalist

• Passive: Edge of Mortality
  • Grants Immunity to Fatal Blow and Brutal Strike
  • Faiza has a chance to prevent each ally from KO once per combat
  • Allies who are saved in this way are granted healing over time, have all debuffs removed, and receive bonus healing from Beneficence action
• Passive: Field Medic
  • Chance to heal allies who are attacked
• Passive: Wielder of Excalibur
  • Lead by Light grants Faiza bonuses
  • Level 1: Protect low health allies
  • Level 2: Interrupt attacks against low health allies
  • Level 3: When interrupting against low health allies gain an extra turn

Unlocked at Level 1

Targets One Enemy

Type: Melee, Slashing

Special Properties

Lead by Light:

• Every time Lead by Light is activated Faiza and her allies gain bonuses to their attacks

• All Allies: Rising Up (Has a chance to gain Focused, Fortified, Agile, or Strengthened)

Action 2: Hippocratic Oath

Unlocked at Level 2

Targets One Enemies

Type: Debuff

Special Properties

Subtle:

• Does not trigger most status effects

One Enemy:

• Hippocratic Oath (1 round)
  • Cannot use any action this round besides Recharge
  • Has a chance to be removed when attacking Faiza
• Targeted (1 round)
  • Attacks against this target are guaranteed to hit and crit
• Pain (3 rounds)
  • Increases damage taken by 15%
  • This effect stacks up to 5 times

Self:

• Channeling
  • Holding an enemy in place
  • Attacking Faiza can stop the channel

Action 3: Beneficence

Unlocked at Level 6

Targets One Ally

2 Round Cooldown

Type: Heal

Special Properties

Multi-Function:

• Can be used to perform different actions

One Ally:

• Emergency Restoration
  • Restores some health
  • If the target recently resisted being knocked out due to Faiza's Near the Brink, this heal restores the character to full health

Action 3a: Triage

Targets All Allies

3 Round Cooldown

Type: Heal

Special Properties

Subtle:

• Does not trigger most status effects

All Allies:

• Triage (1 round)
  • Immune to Endemic, Manipulated, Paradise Lost and Pain
  • Removes and Prevents Debuffs
  • Healing Over Time

Action 4: Bright Blade

Unlocked at Level 9

Targets All Allies

3 Round Cooldown

Type: Buff

Special Properties

Lead by Light:

• Every time Lead by Light is activated Faiza and her allies gain bonuses to their attacks

All Allies:

• Blessing (1 round)
  • Increases the effect of healing received
• Bright Blade (2 rounds)
  • Immune to Doom and Despair
