Special Operation 20: Guardians of the Galaxy

• Briefing - S.H.I.E.L.D. is playing a dangerous game of hot potato, as earth becomes a hotbed of cosmic conflict between some of the biggest powers in the galaxy.

Spec Op 20 Reward Hero: Star-Lord

• Bio – Abducted from Earth as a child and raised by space pirates, Peter Quill grew up to be kind of a jerk. Luckily, he found a team of other jerks in need of a leader: the Guardians of the Galaxy. When he's not hitting on alien girls or trying to convince people that he's famous, he can occasionally be found saving the galaxy.

    • I Have A Plan
      • Chance to grant an Extra Turn and a Morale Boost when an ally attacks or is attacked
    • Leather Jacket
      • Always in style
    • Legendary Outlaw
      • Chance to counter-attack enemies with Opportunity Debuffs that attack an ally
      • Chance increases if an ally is another member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, affects Guardian Uniforms only

  • Unlocked at Level 1

      • Attacks do 20% less damage and cannot crit
    • Cornered
      • Removes and prevents Protect effects

      • Has a chance to gain Focused, Fortified, Agile or Strengthened

  • Unlocked at Level 2
  • Ranged, Gun
  • Targets One Enemy
  • Special Properties
    • Wild Shots
      • Has a low chance to hit
    • Show-Off
      • Chance to add a second hit, Pain, and Off-Balance
    • That's Just Rude
      • Chance for a guaranteed hit and add a third hit, Pain, and Exhausted
  • One Enemy
    • Stun
      • 10% chance
      • Loses next turn
      • Reduced chance to dodge
    • Staggered
      • Cannot dodge most attacks
      • Ignores most Avoidance effects
    • Pain
      • Increases damage taken by 8%
      • This effect stacks up to 3 times

• Action 3: Quantum Leap
  • Unlocked at Level 6
  • Melee, Ranged, Gun
  • Targets One Enemy
  • Special Properties
    • Stealthy
      • Does not trigger counter-attacks or protect abilities
  • One Enemy
    • Hobbled
      • Attacks cannot be Stealthy
    • Fumbling
      • Single-target attacks provoke a counter-attack
    • Winded
      • Removes and prevents Follow-Up attacks

• Action 4: Element Gun
  • Unlocked at Level 9
  • Special Properties
    • Multi-Function
      • Can be used to perform different actions

• Action 4-1: Hot Shot
  • Ranged, Fire
  • Targets One Enemy
  • One Enemy
    • Burning
      • Taking damage every turn
      • Defense reduced
      • Cancelled by chilled
    • Neutralized
      • Removes and prevents stat increasing effects

• Action 4-2: Cold Snap
  • Ranged, Ice
  • Targets One Enemy
  • 1 Round Cooldown
  • One Enemy
    • Chilled
      • Taking damage every turn
      • Evasion reduced
      • Cancelled by burning
    • Demise
      • Removes Doom, causing it to trigger immediately

• Action 4-3: Rocks Fall
  • Summon
  • Targets All Enemy
  • 2 Round Cooldown
  • Starts Cooled Down
  • Special Properties
    • Deadly Crits
      • Deals extra damage on critical hits
    • High Crits
      • Increased chance of critical hits
    • Summon Attack
      • Does not trigger counter or retaliation effects
  • All Enemies
    • Fatal Blow
      • Defeats normal enemies with less than 30% health
      • Greatly damages bosses with less than 30% health

• Action 4-4: Lit Up
  • Ranged, Electric
  • Targets One Enemy
  • Special Properties
    • Exploit Opportunity
      • Deals increased damage against targets with Cornered, Exhausted, Impaired, Neutralized, Off-Balance, Staggered or Winded
    • Exploits Bleeds
      • Deals extra damage against Bleeding targets
    • Paragon Exploiter
      • Deals extra damage against targets with Combo Setup, Dizzy, Exposed, Slowed, Stunned, or Weakened

New Villain: Ronan

• Formerly the Supreme Accuser of the Kree Empire, Ronan is utterly ruthless in pursuing his twisted form of justice, and will stop at nothing to regain his title.

New Villain: Black Dwarf

• Compared to the others of the Black Order, Black Dwarf seems almost jovial. This demeanor conceals an uncaring nihilism, an acceptance of Thanos' vision of universal death.

New Villain: Nebula

• The granddaughter of Thanos, Nebula's superhuman strength, durability, and mastery of advanced weapons and technology make her a powerful adversary in her own right.

New Villain: Supergiant

• Mysterious and unstable, Supergiant is a psychic parasite, feeding on intellect and controlling the minds of her victims.
