Spec Op 27: Along Came the Spiders[]
Alternate versions of Spider-Man from multiple dimensions are gathering on Earth, looking for strength in numbers while staying one step ahead of their pursuers - a family of Spider-eating Inheritors. As the Spiders flee from the Inheritors, they find themselves up against the Sinister Six, who are wielding a powerful, Spider-fueled machine capable of altering the universe. Faced with becoming food or fuel, Superior Spider-Man and Ultimate Spider-Man join the fight!

Spec Op 27 Reward Hero: Ultimate Spider-Man aka Miles Morales[]
Bio – This alternate Ultimate Spider-Man is Miles Morales. He was also bitten by a radioactive spider which gave him abilities similar to our own Spider-Man. Miles initially refused to become a Super Hero, wishing to live a normal life, but after he witnessed the death of his predecessor, he decided to use his abilities to help others and live to the very mantra that it seems most Spiders live by, that with great power comes great responsibility.

New Lockbox Hero: Superior Spider-Man[]
Bio: On first glance, this alternate Spider-Man appears to be a more aggressive and condescending version of Peter Parker. This is only partially true as this version of Spider-Man is actually possessed by the mind of Dr. Otto Octavius, a.k.a. Doctor Octopus. Evading death by possessing the body of his arch-nemesis, Octavius was infused with the memories of his predecessor and became determined to show the world what a Superior Spider-Man was capable of while hiding his true identity, especially from other Spiders.

- Fantomex’s Sensing A-iso has been fixed, so that EVA precounters before using the PreEVA attack
- The Puncturing A-iso can now be socketed into X-23’s Horseman of War Uniform
- Shatterstar’s Painful A-iso will now apply Pain Train on follow up or counterattacks
- Magik’s Charged A-iso appropriately grants two stacks of Soul Charge
- Legion Particle Accelerator will no longer counter allies with Radiation Exposure
- Adjusted damage for Agent items, First Blood, Caltrop Launcher, and Hunting Rifle, to intended level.
