“Militant, Hydra’s very own Captain Unamerica, has the same subdermal Iso-8 implants I discovered on Bowman, their phony Hawkeye -- refer to that log for details.
“More disturbing, however, is his not-so-mighty shield. As far as I can tell, to emulate the Vibranium qualities of Cap’s own, the garbage can lid Militant was carrying appears to have been made from an alloy of refined Iso-8, the Wonder Metal from Space.
“Only problem with that? To test Iso-8’s radiation-absorbing quantities and to see if they were comparable to Vibranium’s I bombarded it with low-frequency gamma rays in my lab.
“Let’s just say I was lucky I was wearing my armor at the time.
“I’m still picking up pieces of equipment off the floor. And the walls. And ten blocks away. Thing blew up like Blob at the all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet.
“We have to find these Hydra idiots and stop their tinkering with Iso-8 before they cause some damage that can’t be cleaned up.”
