Hair on Fire[]
These 25 Tasks need to be completed in order to unlock and recruit Ghost Rider.
General Rules of Thumb[]
- Red fights are the most Unstable ISO-8 cost-efficient. Yellow, Blue and Deploy Missions should be avoided if possible.
- Look ahead and save Gifts (Unstable ISO-8/Pumpkin Bombs, etc.) and Distress Calls in advance.
- Look ahead and plan your battles. Ex. Waiting to fight the mini-boss (Task 3) until after 3 demons are defeated (Task 2). Sometimes it can cost you an entire run.
- Mastery Stars can be completed in advance.
- Spend your Unstable ISO-8 wisely. Unlike previous Ops, almost all of the tasks must be done within this Operations.
Hints on Demon Fights[]
- Some demons have the ability to gain health from Burning and Energy attack. Avoid using weapons or Heroes that have that type of damage type. Magik, Gambit, Human Torch, and Phoenix may not be the best choices.
- BE VERY CAREFUL when fighting the Subcinctus demon. Her Hell Hath no Fury buff results in a massive counterattack. DO NOT hit her directly if you can avoid it (this includes distress calls), but use Recharge, Psychic, Stealthy/Subtle Attacks or Items that do not trigger this buff. (If you have Phoenix or Invisible Woman, defeating this demon becomes fairly easy)
- Mephisto in mission 3 of the spec ops 'All Hallows' cannot be defeated in the traditional manner. If his health is reduced to 0 during the second wave, he will regain a small amount of health relative to your agent's level. The battle can only end when he uses "Prince of Lies." It is advisable however that your agent along with Ghost Rider (Team-up Hero) and the other hero you use must be kept alive in the second wave. This increases the probability to trigger Mephisto to use his 'Prince of Lies' ability, ultimately ending the battle. Mere one-on-one fight with Mephisto (e.g. Torch vs. Mephisto or Agent vs. Mephisto) may not trigger 'Prince of Lies' ability of Mephisto soon enough, thus prolonging the boss battle.

- Escaped Prisoners are still at large throughout the city, armed by and assisting super-powered villains. They can be found in Mission 1: Devil's Daughter.
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 100 for the Agent
2. Demonology

- Defeat 3 Demons
- Demons are streaming through portals into the city. They can be found in all three missions of Spec Op 4.
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 1000 Silver
3. The Usual Suspects

- Defeat a Mini-Boss in Mission 1
- Defeat either Jack O'Lantern or The Hood in Mission 1 to complete this quest.
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 200 for the Agent
4. Dance with the Devil

- Complete Mission 1
- Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score . Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 1 Command Point
5. Chain Reaction

- Use Ghost Rider's "Damnation Chains" ability 3 times
- Damnation Chains is Ghost Rider's first ability. You can use him as a Team-Up in all three Spec Op 4 Missions.
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 100 for the Agent, Blueprint: Infernal Fang and 1 Infernal Fang
6. Al Dente

- Research the Infernal Fang in the Lab
- Research the Infernal Fang to complete this task.
- Requires 20 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: Infernal Fang
7. Resource Management

- Collect 10 Unstable Iso-8
- Unstable Isotope-8 can be found in normal combat, as well as rewards from deploys and boss fights. You can also get some from your friends!
- Requires 20 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 100 for the Agent and Unlocks Mission 2 - The Hoary Host
8. Mindless Violence

- Defeat 4 Mindless Ones
- The Mindless Ones are denizens of Dormammu's Dark Dimensions who exist only to destroy. They can be found in Mission 2: The Hoary Hosts.
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 1000 Silver
9. Hypocritic Oath

- Defeat Moonstone
- Moonstone is a Mini-Boss in Mission 2: The Hoary Hosts.
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish

10. Trespasses

- Use Ghost Rider's Penance Stare on an enemy with Sin
- Penance Stare is Ghost Rider's second ability, use it on an enemy afflicted with Sin for extra damage. You can use him as a Team-Up in all Spec Op 4 Missions.
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 1000 Silver, Infernal Blade
11. Hot Knives

- Upgrade the Infernal Blade to Soulfinder in the Lab
- The Soulfinder can be researched after acquiring the Infernal Blade.
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 100 for the Agent

- Complete 3 Flight deck Mission
- Send any hero on any flight deck mission.
- Requires 20 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 3000 Silver
13. Trick or Treat

- Pumpkin Bombs can be gifted by friends.
- Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish

- Defeat Baron Mordo
- Defeat Baron Mordo in either Mission 2: The Hoary Hosts, or Mission 3: Signed in Blood.

- Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!

- Infernal Fangs have a high PVP value, and can be purchased from the store after researching them, or gathered from punching demons in the mouth.

- Defeat Satana
- Defeat Satana in either Mission 1: Devil's Daughter, or Mission 3: Signed in Blood.

- Make 4 Demons Explode
- The Nefaralae demons explode when they are killed, they can be found in Mission 1: Devil's Daughter and Mission 3: Signed in Blood.

21. Warning Signs

- Equip the Signpost
- The Signpost makes it possible to wield the rest of the Demon Set. It is the fourth Spec Op Task reward.

- Use Ghost Rider's "Burn Out" ability 3 times
- Burn Out is Ghost Rider's fourth ability. You can use him as a Team-Up in all three Spec Op 4 Missions.

23. Danger Room

- Win 1 PVP battle
- Compete in PVP to test your skills against other players. PVP requires completing Chapter 1 Mission 4 of Story Mode.

24. Dark Dimensions

- Defeat Dormammu
- Dormammu is an Epic Boss in Mission 2: The Hoary Hoasts. HINT: Participate in Deploys as soon as they appear.
- Requires 25 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 1 Command Point
25. All Hallow's Eve

- Complete 3 Stars of Mastery in all Spec Ops 4 Missions
- Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!
- Requires 25 Gold to Auto-Finish
- Reward: 1 Command Point and unlock Ghost Rider
