Agent Coulson:

Hulk is not taking this well, as you might imagine. He's keeping himself just this side of an all-out rampage, but if we don't find her soon, he's going to lose it.

Agent Coulson:

That's a problem we can't afford.

Red Hulk:

A problem you can't afford? That's my daughter.

Maria Hill:

We understand that, General. We will do everything we can to find her.

Red Hulk:

You damn well better. I'm going looking myself. Whoever has her better pray you find them before I do.

If we're going to find Betty Ross, we'll need to run down every little clue the A.I.M. team left. There's nobody better at that than Black Widow.

Maria Hill:

Widow, the A.I.M. team must have left some clue about where they've taken Betty. We're counting on you to find it.

They're staying local. That much I can tell right away. The car they used was abandoned in town and satellite intel doesn't show any air traffic nearby. So our search needs to stay close to home. I'll keep looking.

Clint, an A.I.M. fire team is in this bank with hostages. We think they're buying the kidnappers time, so we need the situation resolved quickly.

If everyone's through talking about their feelings, maybe we can focus on what the Winter Soldier said. The Leader has Betty Ross.

Agent Coulson:

Are you saying what I think you're saying, boss?

Nick Fury:

I'm saying we better find her fast if we want her to still be the Betty we know.

We've found Betty... or at least the lab where the Leader has been holding her.

Agent Coulson:

My God, look what he did to her.

Tony Stark:

Thunderbolt Ross is going to lose his mind.

Agent Coulson:

Some other people might lose their heads. She looks ready to tear them off.

Maria Hill:

Agent, get a team in there to extract Betty Ross and get her back to the Helicarrier. There's no telling what the psychological consequences of this will be.

Red She-Hulk:

You turned me into a monster! Just like dear old Dad.

Wasn't me. It was him.

Abomination:

Handle her, Abomination. Keep her here until we have finished with the mind-control process.

The Leader:

Red She-Hulk:

Nobody's ever been able to handle me, Leader. Sometimes I let them think they can, but now... now I can do anything I want.

We still need to do a psych assessment. This kind of transformation... well, it tends to have unforeseen consequences.

Red She-Hulk:

Make it quick. My dad, Bruce, and I are going on a Leader hunt real soon.

Maria Hill:

The Leader will know we're after him. With all the time he spends making plans, we should expect new obstacles to pop up along the way.

We've got two targets now: Zzzax and the Leader. Plus whoever the Leader's flunkies are other than Absorbing Man and the Winter Soldier.

Maria Hill:

Betty Ross is cleared for action. If she's dealing with any trauma from her experience, she's hiding it so well the S.H.I.E.L.D. psych staff can't ferret it out.

Tony Stark:

All that means is it's going to be worse when it does surface.

Nick Fury:

Thank you, Dr. Freud. We will be adding her to the operational team.

Tony Stark:

Like we could stop her. She's racing Hulk and her dad for the Leader's scalp.

Agent Coulson:

A little competition never hurt anyone.

Nick Fury:

As long as all of our competitors remember what the mission is.

Absorbing Man is hunting someone for the Leader. We'd like to know who. Spider-Girl is in the field nearby. See if she can find him.

Maria Hill:

We know the Leader has sent Absorbing Man out to look for someone, but we don't know who. Spider-Girl

I'll see if I can pick up his trail.

I had him, but then I lost him again. He keeps absorbing different things to blend in with his surroundings, and it makes him hard to track.

Maria Hill:

It's all right. Aerial surveillance picked him up. You can get back to searching for the Leader.

The Winter Soldier is a wild card. Our operation will be a lot simpler if we can track him down. Send Falcon to look for him.

Falcon, the Winter Soldier tangled with the Hulk and then disappeared. We'd like you to shadow the Hulk and if the Winter Soldier reappears, get the drop on him.

Falcon:

If I see him, I'll swoop in.

This is true. Creel packs a punch, but he's not much of a tactical thinker.

We've drawn some attention from unexpected quarters. Skirn and her hammer have shown up to do some breaking. Betty, I know you're racing Bruce and the general, but if you could take a minute and stop Skirn from leveling the neighborhood, that would be great.

Hulk:

I'll do it.

Red She-Hulk:

No, you won't.

Tony Stark:

Whoa, you two. Eyes on the prize here. We don't need you fighting each other.

Red She-Hulk:

I'll take Skirn. Hulk, you can get a head start on the Leader. You're going to need it.

That's a little passive for you, isn't it, big guy?

Hulk:

I have more important things on my mind. If it wasn't for me, both Jen and Betty would never have... never mind. The Leader's the one who needs to be broken.

Red She-Hulk:

Don't feel bad. I don't. I am loving this. And you know what else I'm going to love? Finding the Leader before you do.

You heard me. Coded intercept on a S.H.I.E.L.D. frequency. James Buchanan Barnes is calling in for our help.

Tony Stark:

It's a trap. Has to be.

Nick Fury:

It might be, but he says he has information about another part of the Leader's plot. We can't afford to take the chance of not finding out.

Tony Stark:

San Francisco it is, then. Buckle up, everyone.

Don't shoot. I'm here to talk.

Nick Fury:

We're listening. Make it good.

Winter Soldier:

Transforming Betty was only the first part of the Leader's plan. He's got a gamma dispersal bomb prepared and tomorrow morning he's going to detonate it. It's tailored to use the fog as a vector. It'll irradiate the entire Bay Area, creating an army of gamma Humanoids. He wanted to put Betty at the front of that army, but without her, he's still moving ahead.

Nick Fury:

Sounds convincing. Now convince me it isn't a setup for an ambush.

Winter Soldier:

General Ross did you a favor, Fury. When he put the Leader through the gamma infusion process, that broke the Leader's hold over me. For the first time in... a long, long time... I'm thinking for myself. And I owe him for what he's done.

Captain America:

Bucky. It's good to have you back.

Winter Soldier:

It's good to be back, Steve. You haven't changed a bit.

The Winter Soldier looks like he's back in his right mind, but we need to make sure. Keep Captain America close to him for the time being.

Nick Fury:

Cap, we all want to believe that the old Bucky is back, but we can't rely on that. Not yet.

You stay close to him for a while and make sure he's really free of the Leader's control.

Falcon. That makes twice we've run into Skirn. We need to make sure we know about it in advance if the rest of the Worthy are going to join her.

How about you get up in the air and see what you can see?

Falcon:

Bird's eye view is always better.

We'll get her some help. S.H.I.E.L.D. is not going to leave a child alone in a dangerous spot. Although she did fine against Creel.

Molly Hayes:

I'm gonna punch the Skirn out of you and see if She-Hulk comes back.

Or he could think it's another good way to spread fear. Until she stops swinging that hammer, I'm not going to feel good about her being around.

Better hit him now before he figures out we're here and decides to set it off early.

Red She-Hulk:

Here I go. Dad, Bruce, I think our little game is about to be over.

Tony Stark:

All hands on deck. We've got a city to save.

The Leader:

The Leader:

I beat the red out of you, that's what. And I smashed your bomb mechanism. All in all, I'd say your plans are a mess, Stern.

You're damn right. Now you'll have all the time in the world to stew over my ingratitude while you rot away on the Raft.

It wasn't the same without you, Buck.

Winter Soldier:

I wasn't the same either. It's good to be myself again.

Tony Stark:

Well. This day has been a lot better than I thought it would be when it started.

Red Hulk:

Easy for you to say. Your daughter hasn't been turned into a --

Red She-Hulk:

Don't you dare. I said it before: You can hate yourself if you want to, but that doesn't mean I have to. I've spent a long time watching other people fight. Now I get to join in.

Tony Stark:

See? Good day all around. Where's the Hulk?

Maria Hill:

I don't know. I think he needed some time to himself because he's angry about losing the game to Betty.

Red She-Hulk:

He's a sore loser sometimes. I'll go talk to him.

Nick Fury:
