There's trouble in Asgard. The Bifrost has been broken and without that bridge, Asgard can't keep control over what's happening in the rest of the Nine Realms.

Agent Coulson:

The Dark Elves are taking advantage of this. They've found a way to create portals out of Svartalfheim, their home realm.

Maria Hill:

Some of the portals are in London.

Agent Coulson:

Sif, Valkyrie, and Thor were here when the Bifrost was destroyed. They're taking the lead fighting against the Dark Elves, but we need to get those portals closed.

Nick Fury:

If we can trap the Dark Elves back in Svartalfheim, maybe we can figure out a way to take the fight to them... and whoever is leading them.

When S.H.I.E.L.D. operates in another country, we like to drop in and say hello to the local authorities. In this case, Psylocke is the perfect intermediary to talk to MI-13.

Sif:	The Dark Elves have not the knowledge. Surely the Enchantress is involved.

Maria Hill:

I'm not sure we can jump to that conclusion.

Sif:	The Wrecker and his Crew have been her minions in the past. I see no reason to believe that has changed.

Thor:

Regardless of whence it came, we must halt its advance with all speed.

Agent. Together we will face the Destroyer yet once more. I have come to think of you as my talisman against it. To battle!

I was skeptical, but it turns out the Enchantress was the one who brought the Destroyer back to life.

Now she's bringing Jotun into London, and she's got her pet barbarian killer, the Executioner, keeping her company.

Heimdall:

The Dark Elves have attacked Asgard itself. I did not see them. This is troubling.

Tony Stark:

They're using some kind of cloaking magic or something that can even hide them from Mr. All-Seeing here. Bad news. Asgard's in trouble.

Heimdall:

Yet there is a way to fight back. We must go to Asgard.

Nick Fury:

This is one of those times when Asgard's business is definitely our business too, Agent.

A breakaway Jotun group has stolen a boat and is crossing the North Sea. Send Valkyrie after them to make sure they don't get to Scandinavia.

Well, if we were waiting for Malekith to show himself, the suspense is over. Here he is in London. We didn't even have to figure out a way to get to Asgard.

Agent Coulson:

By all accounts, he's a thoughtful guy.

Maria Hill:

Are you serious?

Tony Stark:

No, of course not. I don't know anything about him except what Thor told me.

Maria Hill:

Which was what?

Thor:

That the Nine Realms will not be safe as long as he draws breath.

Heimdall:

Elf King, you have taken a step too far.

Hear, guardian of the broken bridge. This is your future. When Kurse has hunted down the Odinson, and my armies crush the defenses of Asgard... The Nine Realms will collapse into the primordial darkness, and only I will rule.

Malekith:

Heimdall:

That is not what I see.

You did not see our attack on Asgard, O Watcher. What else are you not seeing now?

Malekith:

Darkness. Darkness fit for the rule of Malekith...

Loki's knowledge of secret ways may prove our only advantage... though it galls me to say it.

Tony Stark:

Let's get back to it, then. If Thor's right, and Loki knows the way from here to Svartalfheim, we better get him to show us.

Loki says he knows a secret path from Asgard to Svartalfheim. Problem is, if he keeps it open for too long the Dark Elves will turn it into a two-way street.

Maria Hill:

Asgard might not survive another attack like the last one.

Nick Fury:

So we're going to do it the hard way. There are still Dark Elves in London. We take them out.

Maria Hill:

While we're doing that, we open passages from here to Svartalfheim via Asgard. Then we close them as we go.

Nick Fury:

That way we keep the Dark Elves in Svartalfheim while we send strike teams after Malekith. Sound good?

Thor:

Striking Malekith sounds very good, Fury. Let us speak no longer. It is time for action. Loki! Show the portal, brother.

Someone with experience fighting Dark Elves needs to keep an eye on the portals we've already closed while we try to find a way to Svartalfheim. She won't like it, but it's a job for Valkyrie.

To Svartalfheim one more time. Objective this time is the Wrecker, who's about to lead Dark Elves into Asgard.

Tony Stark:

Looks like he left the rest of his boys at home. Maybe they're still too banged up from running into Sif and Valkyrie.

Nick Fury:

He'll still be plenty to handle with Dark Elves on his side. Let's move. If we get a fix on Malekith's location, we can go after him, too.

Heimdall:

Loki, lead the way.

Loki:

With pleasure... and perhaps I will lead not just the way but the battle itself! The Wrecker and I must renew our acquaintance.

Wrecker! It has been too long. Still reaping the benefits of what should have been mine, I see.

Beat it, ya clown. Me and these elf boys got conquerin' to do.

Wrecker:

Loki:

All right, boys. Let's get wreckin' in Asgard!

Tony Stark:

Oh, the notoriously witty Stark resents the presence of rhetorical competition, does he? Poor thing.

Tony Stark:

And now you're trying to bait me instead of the Wrecker. Thanks, but no thanks, Joe Curlyhorns. Okay, next passage to Svartalfheim! Loki?

Loki:

A travel agent I am not, Stark.

Tony Stark:

Hey, if you'd rather Thor put you back in your box... ...nothing to say? There's a first.

Time for the thrilling climax. We've found Malekith in Svartalfheim.

Agent Coulson:

If we don't nail him now, Dark Elf armies are going to pour through portals into both Asgard and London.

Maria Hill:

He's not going to just hit and run, not with his armies ready to march. This time, he'll stand and fight.

Thor:

At last.

Thor:

Your armies are broken, Malekith. Not Kurse, nor Amora, nor a multitude of Dark Elves will break the will of Asgard.

Then why are you here, Odinson? If you have already won, what use is this battle?

Malekith:

Thor:

Use? The use of it is that I will crush you with Mjolnir, burn you with lightning, and watch you die.

Still a rash boy. I have waited thousands of years for this moment. How many have wished me dead during those ages? Yet I am still here.

Malekith:

The will of Asgard? You may have all the will you can muster, Odinson. What you lack is strength.

Malekith:

The doom of the universe is darkness... a darkness over which I will rule.

Thor:

Malekith is defeated. The Dark Elves are fleeing for the portals that remain.

Nick Fury:

Cut them off and close those portals. The fewer of them get back to Svartalfheim, the longer it's going to be until we have a Dark Elf problem again.

Heimdall:

We must return to Asgard. There is much to be done, and who knows what threats remain?

Sif:	Muspelheim and Niflheim may yet be restless.

Tony Stark:
