Ultron has gone rogue. We brought him out of cyberspace into the real world, and now he's probably figured out how to exist in both. We should have known this would happen. Hell, some of us did.

Tony Stark:

And before we knew Ultron was going rogue, he was already reaching out to our enemies. He's managed to mobilize a detachment of R.A.I.D. terrorists.

Hank Pym:

I'm afraid it gets worse than that, Fury. Ultron is also building... something. I've tracked a number of echoes of his personality around cyberspace.

Nick Fury:

This is your fault, Pym. You said you could keep it under control.

Hank Pym:

Yeah. It's my fault. If I hadn't done this it would have gone rogue inside our security systems, which would have been a hell of a lot worse.

Nick Fury:

The situation is what it is. Agent, your mission orders are to clear R.A.I.D. positions, find whatever Ultron's building, and find Ultron himself.

We're a little short on telepaths around here, but Psylocke has agreed to make the trip from London if we need her... and we do, because someone's been keeping a telepathic eye on one of our Iso-8 shipping routes.

Glad you could make it, Psylocke. I've asked your brother to help out, too. We need someone to keep a telepathic eye on an Iso-8 shipment, so we can get a sense of who might be looking at it.

Dane, we've identified a facility that Ultron may be using to reproduce himself. Your primary mission is recon, but be prepared to carve your way out if necessary. I understand you have a knack for physics as well. Maybe you can get a look at the materials in the factory and see what they tell you.

Black Knight:

Perhaps. Ultron is not an opponent to be taken lightly.

I can tell you this much: whether or not there's more than one Ultron out there now, there will be. The facility I saw is more than adequate to reproduce him... in large numbers.

MiniBoss - Hydro-Man

Hydro-Man just led a R.A.I.D. detachment into this warehouse. We're not sure what kind of gadgetry they're putting together, but we're going to fight fire with water, so to speak. Wanda, this one's yours. Whatever R.A.I.D. and Ultron are up to, they won't be planning on chaos magic.

Scarlet Witch:

That's the beauty of chaos magic, Tony. Nobody can plan for it. Sometimes not even me.

Whoa. Ultron sent us to get you, but I didn't think you'd actually show up. We had nothing to do with stealing all this Iso-8.

Tony Stark:

Not just an android. Look, we've got replicating equipment, over there I'm seeing large inventories of components...

Scarlet Witch:

So he's building more than one.

Tony Stark:

Looks to me like a lot more than one. The sooner we find him, the sooner we can nip this whole thing in the bud.

There's a small tech company here, specializing in miniaturized circuitry design. The Vulture has taken it over. Ultron appears to have installed security protocols all around it, so we've got no surveillance ability on the inside.

Just the kind of place you might take over if you were building a bunch of highly sophisticated mechanical constructs.

Hank Pym:

I could have told you that.

Tony Stark:

Yeah, well, you said lots of things that turned out not to be true. Let the grownups handle this.

Maria Hill:

Also, it would be a Loki kind of move to meet up with Ultron and pretend to be friends so he could use him.

Nick Fury:

S.H.I.E.L.D. is not in the business of letting that happen, not when we're still looking bad because of the Vault breakout. Nail Loki and stay on Ultron's trail.

Maria Hill:

Quicksilver?

Quicksilver:

I'm already there.

Scarlet Witch:

My fight, Pietro.

Quicksilver:

You're a step behind, sister, and you're not listening. I said I'm already there.

A detachment from S.H.I.E.L.D. Who would have expected it? But you will bungle this as you have bungled everything else recently. You have failed to contain the Ultron being. You failed to notice me in the Vault, and I was trying to draw your attention! So many delightful creatures... it broke my heart to see them locked away.

Loki:

Tony Stark:

That was you? Now this is personal. I spent a lot of money on that Vault.

Who else? All those poor monsters and humanoids, locked up... all that potential for chaos gone to waste. I couldn't permit it. And this Ultron... as a rule I dislike mechanical intelligences. They lack visceral feeling. But I believe this Ultron is a being whose acquaintance I would like to make. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., you -- aargh!

Loki:

Quicksilver:

Surprise! Your turn, sister!

A punch out of nowhere! A trick! I salute it. Now we shall see who has the last laugh.

Loki:

Scarlet Witch:

Loki was playing cards with some A.I.M. personnel here. I've recovered what looks like a circuit pattern from the table. Looks like someone bet it.

Get it to Tony and Pym pronto. Okay, that ought to be done. Now we see if this Vision thing can be put back together.

Tony Stark:

Quicksilver is here in the lab. We'll find out about the Vision android real soon. Any sign of Ultron?

Maria Hill:

Traces everywhere. Nothing firm.

Looks like Pym might be right, Nick. I think we can reprogram the Vision android. Ultron had a number of blocks installed in its neural pathways.

Nick Fury:

It has neural pathways? I thought it was a robot.

Hank Pym:

It's a mechanical construct, but built to mimic organic structures. It has a genuine personality. If we can get the neural pathways reconfigured, we can...

Tony Stark:

We can give it a conscience. Unlike all the Ultron copies out there, which are just as bad as the original.

Hank Pym:

Conscience isn't exactly the word. More along the lines of--

Nick Fury:

Dr. Pym. Shut up.

Tony Stark:

Now don't be mean, Nick. Hank's feelings bruise easily. The quicker we can get Vision fully functional, the quicker we can use him against Ultron.

Hank Pym:

Well, there's a problem there. When you guys blew the hell out of the Vision android, you didn't pick up all of the pieces. R.A.I.D. picked them up and A.I.M. muscled them away from R.A.I.D.. We need those back before we can put the android back together. Then we can turn it around and send it against Ultron. This thing was Ultron's secret weapon. Now it's ours.

Nick Fury:

We thought Ultron was ours too, Pym. Go ahead and try, but if this Vision thing so much as twitches wrong, I'm blowing it straight to hell. Agent, if you run across any pieces of the android, put them in your pocket and get them to Pym.

Nick Fury:

Oh, please do. Quicksilver, I'm sure there are some remnant A.I.M. die-hards hiding out in the area. You've earned a break, but if you can help us mop up we'd appreciate it.

Quicksilver:

I did my time on this, Fury. I followed Vision around, I took the fight to the U-Foes. We won. Now you can find someone else to sweep up after your parades.

You want the good news or the bad news first?

Tony Stark:

Okay, Ultron has corrupted all kinds of cybernetic systems and slaved a bunch of Sentinels and Servo Guards that are now coming after us. He's also apparently built a bunch more copies of himself, souped them up with ISO-8, and turned them loose. So we still don't know which Ultron is the real Ultron.

Nick Fury:

And the good is...

Tony Stark:

Meet the all new Vision.

Vision:

I am... grateful for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s reconstruction of my physical form, Director Fury. And for the work performed on my incomplete psyche.

Nick Fury:

You're welcome. Pym, Stark, you sure this thing is ready to go?

Tony Stark:

Yep. Beast and Reed signed off on it too.

Nick Fury:

All right then. Vision, this is your S.H.I.E.L.D. shakedown cruise. Go get Ultron.

Nick Fury:

I somehow doubt he could compete with Stark.
