Vision of the Future

A total of 25 Tasks need to be completed in order to unlock and recruit Vision.

Captain Britain, Psylocke, and Black Knight (totaling 315 ) are needed to complete Task 25. If you don't have enough Command Points, you may want to save 25 Gold so you can skip the task. Unless noted, defeating enemies and villains in the normal chapter won't count toward task completion.

Tasks

1. Soldier On

Vision of the Future - 1 of 25

• Defeat 5 R.A.I.D. Soldiers
  • R.A.I.D. is a terrorist splinter group of A.I.M. Their soldiers can be found in Mission 1: Industrial Revolution.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent

2. Door to Door

Vision of the Future - 2 of 25

• Complete a Deploy
  • Deploy heroes to advance through a mission. Deploys reward items and powerups.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 1000 Silver

3. The B-List

Vision of the Future - 3 of 25

• Defeat a Mini-Boss in Mission 1
  • Defeat either Hydro-Man or Vulture in Mission 1 to complete this quest.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 200 for the Agent

4. Powerful Armor

Vision of the Future - 4 of 25

• Defeat 3 Exoskeletal Battletanks
  • Exoskeletal Battletanks are piloted, heavily-armed robotic vehicles. They can be found in Mission 1: Industrial Revolution.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 1 Command Point

• Defeat Vision
  • Vision is the Boss of Mission 1: Industrial Revolution.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent & Blueprint: Android Hand

6. Handyman

Vision of the Future - 6 of 25

• Research the Android Hand in the Lab
  • Research the Android Hand to complete this task.
• Requires 20 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: Unlocks Android Hand in the Store. Pre-requisite to research Lightning Needle.

7. Ultimate

Vision of the Future - 7 of 25

• Complete a Battle with Ultron
  • Ultron can be found on the current Spec Op map.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 10 Omega Lockboxes

8. Ignoble Gas

Vision of the Future - 8 of 25

• Defeat Vapor and Vector
  • Vapor and Vector are the Mini-Bosses in Mission 2: Spare Parts.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 1000 Silver

9. Mission Accomplished

• Get 2 Stars of Mastery in Mission 1
  • Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 2000 Silver

10. Shadow Boxing

Vision of the Future - 10 of 25

• Use Quicksilver 's Blinding Punches 5 Times
  • Blinding Punches is Quicksilver's first ability. Quicksilver is a Team-Up in Spec Op 8 Mission 2.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent & Pym-Grown Needle

11. Pym Power

• Upgrade Pym-Grown Needle to Lightning Needle in the Lab
  • The Lightning Needle can be researched after acquiring the Pym-Grown Needle.
• Requires 20 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent & Lightning Needle

12. Versus

• Fight 5 PVP Battles
  • Compete in PVP to test your skills against other players. Hint: Practice matches count as battles.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent

13. Think Pink

• Defeat X-Ray
  • X-Ray is a Boss of Mission 2: Spare Parts.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 3000 Silver

14. Ready, A.I.M.? Fire!

• Defeat 15 A.I.M. Soldiers
  • A.I.M. is a group of fanatical scientists bent on ruling the world through technology. Their soldiers can be found in Mission 2: Spare Parts.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent

15. Attack of the Clones

• Fight Ultron 3 Times
  • Fight Ultron either on your own map or on your friends' maps for free. Ultron respawns every 72 hours.
• Requires 20 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent and Volt-Caster

16. Omega Factor

• Upgrade the Volt-Caster to the Vajra in the Lab
  • The Vajra can be researched after acquiring the Volt-Caster.
• Requires 20 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 1000 Silver

17. Past Their Prime

Vision of the Future - 17 of 25

• Defeat 8 Prime Sentinels
  • Prime Sentinels are cyborgs, combining human cunning with Sentinel technology. They can be found in Mission 3: Ultron-Violence.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent

18. Binary System

• Get 2 Stars of Mastery in Mission 2
  • Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!

19. Sunburst

• Use Vision 's Solar Jewel 3 Times
  • Solar Jewel is Vision's fourth ability in his Blaster form. Vision is a Team-Up in Spec Op 8 Missions 2 and 3.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent

21. Donating Plasma

• Use Omega Sentinel 's Plasma Knife 5 Times
  • Plasma Knife is Omega Sentinel's first ability in her Scrapper form. Omega Sentinel is a Team-Up in Spec Op 8 Mission 3.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent

22. Locked On

• Collect 5 Omega Lockboxes
  • Collect Omega Lockboxes to unlock Omega Sentinel as a playable hero. They can be earned from fighting Ultron or lockbox sidequests.
• Requires 20 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 1

23. Prime Time

• Defeat Ultron Prime
  • Ultron Prime is the Boss of Mission 3: Ultron-Violence.
• Requires 10 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 100 for the Agent

24. Special Operative

  • Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!

• Reward: 5000 Silver

25. Master of Mischief

• Defeat Loki
  • Loki is the Epic Boss in Mission 1: Industrial Revolution. HINT: Participate in Deploys as soon as they appear.
• Requires 25 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 1 Command Point (And Vision)

Hints

• Task 13: Defeating X-Ray in regular missions DOES NOT count towards this task.
• Task 14: A.I.M. soldiers found in regular missions DO NOT count toward the total.
• Task 16: Costs 120 U-Isos. Duration 2 days.
• Task 17: Mission 3 has only 7 Prime Sentinels.  To avoid running it twice, start the mission and fight 1 Prime Sentinel, then abandon the mission and start it over. On the other hand, if you plan to do all tasks, you have to get 3 star mastery in all missions. So you could restart the mission to get your 8 prime sentinels, or just run the mission twice and be a little ahead on getting 3 star mastery.
• Task 21: This can be done outside Spec Ops, but only if you have Omega Sentinel.

• Defeat 4 U-Foes
  • REWARD: 12 Lockboxes
  • The U-Foes are the minibosses and bosses of Mission 2.
• Requires 30 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 12 Omega Lockbox

3. Xs and Os

Technologic - 3 of 6

• Defeat 5 Exoskeletal Battletanks
  • REWARD: 24 Lockboxes
  • Exoskeletal Battletanks appear in both Mission 1 and Mission 2.
• Requires 50 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 24 Omega Lockbox

4. Mechanical Animals

Technologic - 4 of 6

• Defeat 15 Spec Op 8 Robots
  • REWARD: 12 Lockboxes
  • Sentinels and Servoguards are found in Mission 3.
• Requires 30 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 12 Omega Lockbox

5. Laufeyson

Technologic - 5 of 6

• Defeat Loki
  • REWARD: 24 Lockboxes
  • Loki is the Epic Boss in Mission 1. HINT: Participate in Deploys as soon as they appear.
• Requires 50 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 24 Omega Lockbox

6. Completionist

Technologic - 6 of 6

• Complete 4 Stars of Mastery in all Spec Ops 8 Missions
  • REWARD: 48 Lockboxes
  • Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!
• Requires 100 Gold to Auto-Finish
• Reward: 48 Omega Lockbox
