Or... DEALING WITH ALLY TROLLS

I've seen it time and time again on forums and it's alarming that there are players out there that would incite such kinds of fear. The fear of getting banned from M:AA or PVP by advertising your FB ID to gain allies in the game.

Simply put - there are trolls out there prey on the naïvete of newer players. Telling them they will get banned for advertising their FB id's. Part of this fear is based on the unconscious realization of players that there is nothing to connect them from their username on an external forums (i.e. MAAForums or <Insert Cheating Program Name Here>) to their actual FB ID and M:AA account on FB, and by posting your FB ID, you are providing Playdom with the opportunity to ban you.

Truth is Playdom cannot ban you just because you post your ID. They certainly cannot ban you for doing something intrinsic to the nature of Facebook, which is adding friends to your list (and subsequently, Allies).

As it stands, there are quite a few forums to increase your ally count. Here's just a few I know about.

If for some reason you DO get banned because you added a bunch of allies, then I'll be sorry for you. But until you get banned or directly know someone who got banned for adding allies, don't believe the Troll Hype.

FYI: THIS POST WAS COMPOSED LARGELY TO FULFIL THE NEED OF PROVIDING SUCH INFORMATION QUICKLY IN OTHER FORUMS WITHOUT HAVING TO EXPLAIN IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. IT IS MY OPINION THAT NEWER PLAYERS SHOULD NOT BE SCARED AWAY BY IDIOTIC COMMENTS BY HALF-BRAINED TROLLS
