X-Force is a mutant counter-terrorist strike force formed by the time traveling mercenary Cable. There have been numerous incarnations of the group over the years.
Numerous X-Force members appear in Marvel Avengers Alliance and receive a team-up bonus when paired together.
Note: X-Force was the original name of the MAA team-up bonus when any two mutants were paired, however that bonus was renamed Children of the Atom, and the X-Force team-up bonus was then given to actual X-Force team members, including Deadpool, a non-mutant.

Notes[]
- The Team-Up Bonus "X-Force" was initially used for any pairing of Mutants, that bonus was later changed to "Children of the Atom" and the X-Force team-up bonus was then assigned to actual members of X-Force.
- The first three PVP Heroes were members of X-Force (Deadpool, Cable, Psylocke), Punisher a member of the Thunderbolts being the character who broke the pattern, the following three seasons after also had X-Force members (X-23, Fantomex, Shatterstar), with the next season again finishing the cycle with a Thunderbolts member (Red Hulk) The pattern of three members of X-Force then a Thunderbolt could be coincidental or intentional, at this point in is unclear.
- However at one point in the mainstream comics universe, Punisher was a member of the X-Force albeit in a different timeline.
- 9 of the 13 in-game X-Force members were first released as PVP Adamantium League rewards.
